The project involved the full strip-out of the existing fitout, decommissioning specialist IVF laboratory equipment, reinstating the premises to the required base building condition, and closing operational connections to the adjoining Epworth Hospital and East Melbourne Specialist Day Hospital.
Resolve Partners used an Early Contractor Involvement process to establish the methodology, staging, cost plan, programme, and risk controls for the works. This was particularly important given the technical laboratory decommissioning, services disconnections, structural interfaces, compliance requirements, and obligations arising under the lease.
